You'll go over your dog's history with Ettel and put a training plan together. Follow up training can be virtual or in person. In person sessions will take place in your home or neighborhood, depending on what we need to work on. You will discuss what the best option is for you and your dog during your consult. You can either opt to have Ettel coach you on training your dog, or she can take over and do the bulk of the training with regular check-ins. You can also do a combo if needed! Ettel's focus is on supporting you and your dog's emotional needs before anything else. She will never use or teach compulsive or painful methods. Feeling safe is paramount to learning for you both. There are many ways to address most behavior concerns, and our goal is to make training work for you. Ettel also has experience working with cats and can help you with interspecies conflicts. We cannot make guarantees because behavior is fluid and we have no way of knowing what the future holds. It would be unethical to do so. Ettel can give you an idea of how long similar cases have taken in the past, but every family is unique. We offer a variety of packages so you can choose what fits best for you. The amount depends on your distance. The travel fee can vary from $30 - $50 and up. Accepting out of zone clients is on a case by case basis. Travel zones and days are subject to change.
