Supporting You and Your Spicy Dog in Every Way

We are…

  • Pet professionals from veterinarians to groomers trust us with their clients because we address challenging behaviors while strengthening the bond between dogs and their families.

  • Whether it’s fear, aggression, or everyday challenges, we create a safe, judgment-free space where you and your dog feel heard and supported every step of the way.

  • The city’s noisy streets and crowded sidewalks can overstimulate dogs. We help both of you navigate urban challenges with walks and training tailored for your neighborhood’s unique pace.

Hi, I’m Ettel

As a certified dog behavior consultant, I started Poodles to Pit Bulls Dog Training to help dogs and their people truly understand each other. Our fear-free, judgment-free methods create a comfortable and supportive environment for both you and your dog while you learn new skills to navigate behavioral challenges.

We blend Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), fear-free techniques, and Karen Pryor clicker training to create a program that fits your dog, your goals, and your lifestyle. We offer a wide range of services to give you the support you need, whether it’s one-on-one training, individualized walks, a walk & train program, or drop in visits for extra help.

What Our Clients Say…

“Without Ettel, I don't know if I would still have my sanity and if Rally would still be here today. Her quiet confidence immediately drew Rally to her in an agility class nearly four years ago. Since then, her calm, positive approach to helping my very sound-sensitive, sometimes fear-aggressive whippet-lab mix cope with the terrors of NYC has given me hope and brought me closer to my pup.”
